Our team consists of a dedicated group of extensively trained and licensed professionals, including counselors, substance abuse therapists, and life coaches. Each member brings a wealth of expertise in various specialized areas. Explore their individual focuses below.

Jeremy Jordan currently serves in the role as Clinical Director here at Front Porch. He has an extensive history working in multiple settings, including residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. Most recently, Jeremy served as the training area leader and coordinator at a private practice. He has also served in higher education helping assist those as they transition from one stage of life to the next. Jeremy is most passionate about serving couples as they navigate relational challenges. He is similarly passionate about treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Additionally, Jeremy has given several training courses and presentations on suicide assessment, ethics, couples counseling, personality types, leadership development and boundaries.

Emma is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has experience working in multiple settings including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. Emma is most passionate about serving young adults as they navigate life transitions. She is similarly passionate about treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Emma believes that having the space to investigate your thoughts, feelings and behaviors can create incredible opportunities for growth and healing. Emma’s goal is to provide an environment that allows each client to identify their strengths and build on them to work toward change and personal growth. Emma will support you through the process of reflection and exploration, and encourage you as you continue developing the strengths and skills that will empower you to reinvest in your best self.

Mike Utech is a Clinician and Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee in Ohio. Mike has a passion for coming alongside those experiencing the trauma of divorce, as well as working with couples to enrich their marriages, whether they are just beginning or have years of experience. Mike is a great listener who helps others feel comfortable sharing their experiences. He utilizes an experiential family systems approach that focuses on here-and-now experiences, personal growth, and humor. “Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.”

Paige Stafford is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. After graduating from
Xavier University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Theology, she returned to Xavier
for a Master’s degree in Theology with a focus on Ethics, Spirituality and Professional Practice.
She then returned to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Paige’s
top priority is to help clients reach their goals and to become better connected with themselves
and their community. She uses her skills to work collaboratively in treatment to improve
wellbeing and health using an integrated counseling model with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy. She relishes the opportunity to help her clients “bloom where they are planted” and to
create a safe space for them to grow and flourish in their lives

Daniel Cowan is an open-minded, easy to talk to counselor who enjoys working with clients from all walks of life. Daniel has an extensive background working in the addictions field, but is open to a wide variety of issues the client may be struggling with. He utilizes a strengths-based approach in order to help the client find and accentuate their best qualities in order to not only survive difficult life circumstances, but also thrive persevering through them.

Madyson McKelvey is a Licensed Professional Counselor, holding a master's degree in forensic mental health counseling from Roger Williams University. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from Bowling Green State University. With a diverse background, Madyson has accrued extensive experience across residential, outpatient, and home-based settings. Her practice spans working with children, adolescents, adults, and parents, reflecting her commitment to providing comprehensive support across various demographics and environments.

Nathan McGee, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio. If one has decided to start looking for a counselor, they may want to work with someone who listens, tries to understand their perspective, and is genuine but not judgmental. Now, they're probably wondering… How can Nathan help them work on themselves? Clients describe his approach as sincere and direct in nature. He focuses on developing a relationship with them that prioritizes trust so they can engage in life and initiate the small, replicable behavioral, cognitive, and environmental changes over time needed to reduce their symptoms.
Specializing in working with clients to noticeably reduce their substance abuse and mental health symptoms while maintaining standards of excellence in their lives, Nathan is well versed in integrated care. He employs an Ecological Counseling Perspective coupled with 2nd wave cognitive behavioral therapy techniques for most symptom presentations, tailoring his approach to each individual and their condition.

Abby Berkey With 20 years of experience in the social work field, Abby is dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome barriers and unhelpful patterns related to past trauma, current stressors, and future anxieties. As a certified EMDR therapist, Abby employs EMDR, CBT, and TF-CBT interventions to facilitate healing and growth. Throughout their career, Abby has served a diverse range of clients, from youth and families to adults and the elderly, in various settings including hospitals, schools, and community environments. This extensive background has broadened their knowledge and skills, enabling them to meet a wide array of needs effectively.

Sara is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Kentucky. She has experience working with couples and individuals ranging in age from early adolescence to older adulthood. Sara has a passion for coming alongside clients who are struggling with relationship and self-worth issues, as well as treating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, and grief.
Sara is also certified in spiritual direction and offers a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space for clients to share openly about whatever they may be wrestling with.

David Brand is a man who cares about families. One of his greatest skills is his calm demeanor and welcoming posture. He brings a very fatherly, patient approach that is very warm and understanding.  People from all backgrounds and walks of life have sought out his insight over the years and the work of therapy is a very natural fit for him. He enjoys building rapport and allowing the session to unfold organically.

Anthony Huffman is licensed in Ohio and Kentucky with over 13 years of professional work experience. He has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, and depression. He believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. He will tailor the dialog and treatment plan to meet each individual's unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. He is here to support and empower individuals in that journey.

Melissa is a state-licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant with a history of working with Faith Based Recovery Programs like YCIBI and Teen Challenge. She also served the Hamilton County Juvenile Court by running substance use disorder groups for at-risk youth. Melissa is an officially trained DBT (Dialectical Behavriol Therapy Skills Group Leader) and case manager for St. Joseph Orphanage, now NewPath Child and Family Services. Additionally, Melissa is a 2015 graduate of IPec Coaching School, which she completed in 2015. and works with adults, teens, and youth on multiple issues.

Bobby Owens cultivates hope through genuine connection by creating a safe space for clients to feel seen, heard, and valued. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (with supervision status) in Ohio, he has specialized training in Developmental and Relational Trauma (DARTT), Gottman Method Level 1, and Biblical Studies.

Bobby's expertise enables him to help individuals and couples understand the impact of life experiences, personal design, and relationships on their connections to themselves, others, and the spiritual. With over 25 years of professional experience and decades of life experience, including a 35-year marriage and a growing family, Bobby also supports fellow therapists and practice owners in pursuing their missions.

His cognitive approach involves partnering with clients to explore the interaction between beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, providing clarity and direction as a trusted guide. Bobby's collaborative "open palm" mindset aims to bring hope and health to the community at large.
